Each town has their own committees that organise their local competition and choose their finalists. For 2010, these were:-

• Conondale - Wendy Shalley or Ashley at the shop.
• Kenilworth - Kathleen.
• Brooloo - Jo Robey _ Mary Valley Traders.
• Ridgewood - Victor & Helga Hill.
• Imbil - Heinke Butt and Jo Robey, with help from Kaili Parker-Price.
• Kandanga - Friends of Kandanga (Jan Watt).
• Amamoor - Julie Worth
• Dagun - Brian Davis and Laverne Summers.
